His work emerges from an exploration of iconic surf imagery and visions of paradise. Inspired by vintage travel posters, he develops a black-and-white photographic language that engages with these collective imaginaries.

Shot on film in Bali, his photographs are shaped by the materiality, grain, and traces inherent to the photographic process. Far removed from generated imagery, they celebrate a direct relationship with time and light.

Situated between landscape and memory, his photographs inhabit an in-between space where the image becomes background, atmosphere, and experience.
