“Nature holds the key to aesthetic satisfaction.”

Born in Paris, Elsa Marj developed a sensitive eye for imagery from an early age, shaped by a formative experience in Kenya. Her work is rooted in an intimate relationship with nature, colour, and materiality.

Between the Caribbean, New York, Northern Europe, and Southern Spain, she has built a multidisciplinary practice that combines photography, textiles, and design.

She currently lives between Tarifa and Madrid, where she continues a visual exploration in which the image becomes a sensory experience.
